AKC is a small crew of whitewater paddlers who want to enjoy the sport and spread the stoke. Whether you just finished an intro course and want to keep progressing, you’re getting back into your boat after some time away, or you’re new to the area and just need someone to meet you at the put-in, you’ve found your crew.
Club events are organized by members—including experienced paddlers and instructors—who share a passion for getting on the water. Everyone contributes, makes responsible decisions and helps build a confident, safety-minded group.
Unfortunately, our club’s limited supply of aging gear isn’t available to try outside the pool. While we’ll do our best to help where we can, members usually own and maintain their own equipment.
Respect our members, the rivers and the environment. Fun first, always.
